After finding the corporate 9 to 5 grind unfulfilling and reassessing his values, Elroy 4.0, aka 26 year old Byron Bay resident Ross Bird dropped out of the rat race to dive into his long time passion of producing music. Pursuit Of Paradise; a collection of 13 sun blissed, tropical, cosmic beats is the result. The album alludes to themes of escapism, freedom and following your passion and was heavily influenced by the tropical landscape of Elroy's surrounds and the cosmos above. Playing live shows in Brisbane, Elroy has supported the likes of Mount Kimbie, Lapalux & Onra to name but a few.
With only a small number of releases under his belt for London's 'Jus Like Music and Brisbanes Ender, Elroy's long awaited debut LP sets the tone for an artist that looks to have a very bright future (and a very hot summer!) ahead of him.
